Acne
Just what is acne anyway? Acne is the result of hair follicle pores becoming blocked and the oil none as sedum starts to build up. When this happens it becomes infected with bacteria. As the bacteria stays under the the pores long enough it will create a whitehead. When the bacteria starts to reach the surface, it was change color and become a blackhead.
Is it possible to get sedum removed from your body. No! Getting rid of sedum is not a solution. Sedum keeps your skin healthy when it's not being blocked.
Why does acne seem to start during your teenage years? No one is not sure why acne seems to start as a teenager. What is known is that sedum is produced by the sebaceous gland and this gland get larger as you grow up.
Why do some acne turn red around the skin? The red skin you see is the bodies inflammatory response kicking in. This lets you know that your bodies immune system is working hard to fight the infection. Sometimes the inflammation process doesn't work properly and it can lead to scarring.
If I develope a scar from the redness, how long will it last? You will not always develope a scar but if you do it will not be permanent. Any scar you do get may last either months or up to a year.
I heard of something called free radicals. What is it? Free radicals are created by the bodies oxidation process. Oxidation is something that needs to happen in all of us. But if unrecycled free radicals start ot build up in the body it can lead to many other conditions including skin damage.
